Tung Chee Hwa was the first CEO of Hong Kong after it reverted back to Chinese sovereignty. He moved for an Home Ownership Scheme in Hong Kong with the plan that all Hong Kongers shall have their own home. However, this plan “backfired” on him when property prices were affected the plan and went down. This was good for the people, but bad for the property developers!
I am an ordinary Hong Kong man, in this issue then, I miss Tung!
